Foreword：

CMC is a kind of water soluble polymer cellulose made by etherification of purified cotton or  paper pulp (α-cellouse) and monochloroacetic acid.CMC is used as binder of glaze or engobe in the ceramic industry,and is mainly applied to reduce glaze dry shrinkage and increase the strength of green glaze, make it cling to the ceramic body.Moreover,the glaze paste could dry evenly after application and form dense and solid glaze surface, make the tile smoother after firing.

II.Product application： 

General percentage of CMC is about 0.15% (1000kg dry glaze add 1.5kg),could reduce to 0.05~0.1% when use high viscosity CMC.CMC in low viscosity has extra dispersibility.Granular CMC will not agglomerate when grinding,and no dust raise when adding material,offers good quality and good working environment.
